The preparations for the U18 election in Markt Lappersdorf have been completed. On January 28, 2026, the election will be held in the town hall, which will be organized specifically for young people. As the organizer, the Bavarian Youth Ring is responsible for this important event, which offers young citizens the opportunity to actively participate in the political process.

The target group includes young people born between March 9th, 2008 and March 8th, 2012. This age group will be informed about the election by letter in the coming weeks and will receive detailed information about the election process and the possibility of digital participation.

Content of choice

In the U18 election, young people have the opportunity to take part in the district election in the Regensburg district and in the mayoral election in Markt Lappersdorf. This election aims to hear young voices in order to get a comprehensive picture of the political opinions and interests of this age group. It is an important step in raising young people's political awareness and getting them excited about democracy.
