Empty Bag Cultural Center: Autumnal highlights and new exhibitions

The “Empty Bag” cultural center has reopened its doors, despite construction work on the external facade. Scaffolding obscures the view of the building, but visitors can enter unhindered and enjoy what is on offer.

With the start of autumn, the restaurant in the cultural center will also return to its regular opening hours. It is now available to guests both at lunchtime and in the evening. On Friday, September 13, 2024, the new concert season of the Jazz Club Regensburg will be ushered in with a performance by the duo Alexandra Lehmler and Franck Tortiller. Jazz lovers can look forward to an evening full of musical highlights.

Cultural highlights in the Empty Bag

The exhibition “Glitch Girls” by Katharina Tenberge-Holzer, which is part of the “Position R” series, is being extended by two weeks at the Städtische Galerie. This exciting exhibition is now on view until Sunday September 15th. After this extension, the new exhibition “Painting Worlds” will open on Saturday, September 21st, presenting a showcase of the work of the painter Heiner Riepl.
