Deuerling local council: Important decisions for construction and traffic
At the last meeting of the municipal council on September 10, 2024, several important topics affecting the municipality of Deuerling were discussed. The focus was on discussions about building applications and infrastructure projects.
A central point was the building application for Lusenstrasse 1. Unfortunately, this application could not be fully processed because the documents submitted were incomplete. This means that applicants may need to submit additional information or documents to move the process forward.
Wind energy and regional planning
Another important decision concerned the redrafting of Regional Plan 11, particularly the section on wind energy. The municipal council has not raised any objections to the designation of priority areas for wind turbines on municipal land. This could promote the development of renewable energy projects in the region in the future.
In addition, a project for cable laying by Bayernwerk was presented. In order to secure the electricity supply in the community, a new transformer station will be installed in the cemetery parking lot. As part of this project, the existing overhead line will be dismantled and replaced with an underground cable, which will increase the reliability of the power supply.
Another topic was the traffic regulations in Pfarrerhöhe. A park management zone will be set up here to ensure that the escape routes are always kept clear. This is particularly important for the safety of residents and the rapid accessibility of emergency services.
In the Heimberg district, the measuring point for traffic monitoring was also expanded. The results show that 80% of road users there drive an average of 15 km/h too fast. One particularly conspicuous driver was clocked at 60 mph, highlighting the need for speed enforcement.
A date for the next citizens' meeting was also set for the community's citizens. This will take place on October 11, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Goss Brewery. Here, citizens have the opportunity to address their concerns and questions directly to the municipal administration.
The public meeting was followed by a non-public meeting in which further confidential topics may have been discussed.
