Deuerling local council: meeting on October 8th with important topics

On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., an important meeting of the local council will take place in the multi-purpose room of the Deuerling elementary school. Citizens are warmly invited to attend this meeting, where various topics will be on the agenda.

The meeting begins with the approval of the minutes of the public part, including the minutes of the last meeting, which took place on September 10, 2024. This is a common step to ensure that all decisions and discussions are recorded correctly.

Agenda items in detail

A central topic will be the examination of building applications and preliminary building inquiries. This includes an application to convert an attic into an apartment at Lusenstrasse 1 and another application to erect a stainless steel fence with brick pillars at Lusenstrasse 40. The removal of trees and bushes at Bergstrasse 16 is also being discussed.

Another item on the agenda concerns village renewal. The Deuerling participant community's share of the costs for the replacement construction of the Geigersteg with retaining walls in the engine canal is discussed here. This is a significant project that will help improve infrastructure in the community.

The mayor will also present information on the digitalization of waste management. This could be an important measure to increase efficiency and transparency in waste disposal. In addition, a letter from the Nittendorf Women's Union dated September 16, 2024 will be discussed, as well as an application for a donation for the THW Helpers' Association Laaber e.V.

Finally, the statutes on determining the property tax rates for the municipality of Deuerling will be up for resolution. The public meeting will be followed by a non-public meeting in which further internal matters will be discussed.
