Building projects and Christmas donations: News from Deuerling!
On December 9, 2025, an important meeting of the local council in Deuerling took place, at which several important resolutions were passed. The focus was on the approval of a building application for the construction of a new agricultural equipment and storage hall, which will also include a midwifery practice. These new premises are to be built in Heimberg at Dorfstrasse 11. In addition to this positive decision, another building application for a single-family residential building with a separate apartment and a triple garage in Deuerling, Am Haslach 36, was postponed, which raises questions about future planning.
An interesting announcement concerned the approved resolutions from a closed meeting. The Simmel company was commissioned to create a railing on the Kalvarienberg, which involved a gross cost of 28,322.00 euros. In addition, it was decided to distribute Christmas grants to people and institutions in need, a measure that was already discussed at the October meeting.
Important infrastructure measures
Furthermore, a decision was made to commission and pay for the services for the sewer connection in Rachelstrasse. Mayor Eichhammer emphasized the successful and solution-oriented cooperation with the district office and the partners GFN, RVV and DBInfraGO. This cooperation is crucial for the implementation of current infrastructure projects.
Another point covered information on rail replacement services due to the general renovation of the Nuremberg – Regensburg railway line. The municipality plans to publish all relevant information in its newsletter and on the official Deuerling homepage. This shows the community's commitment to informing the population promptly and transparently about upcoming changes in transport.
The session illustrates how local political processes are designed in Deuerling and shows that, despite possible challenges caused by deferred applications, comprehensive planning and citizen orientation are in the foreground.
