New Year's Reception 2026: Beratzhausen looks optimistically into the future!
On January 18, 2026, the New Year's reception of the market town of Beratzhausen took place in the multi-purpose hall of the Gottfried Kölwel Elementary School. The reception was opened by Mayor Matthias Beer and his deputy Andreas. In this festive setting, numerous guests signed the Beratzhausen market guest book.
In addition to the former mayors of the market, those present also included district councilors and the mayors of the surrounding communities. In addition, holders of the Ring of Honor and the Citizens' Medal, market town councilors, community employees, club and church representatives, as well as representatives of the fire departments, schools and kindergartens were present. Traders and company representatives rounded off the guest list. The celebrations received a special musical accompaniment from the St. Martin Oberpfraundorf brass band.
Greetings and New Year's speech
At the reception, greetings were also given by various celebrities, including MP Peter Aumer, MP Patrick Grossmann and District Administrator Tanja Schweiger. These speeches provided a valuable perspective on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in 2026. Pastor Johann Christian Rahm also gave a blessing for the new year.
A highlight of the event was the mayor's New Year's address, who looked back on the events of the past year and gave an outlook on developments in the new year. The reception also offered those in attendance an opportunity for personal conversations over drinks and pastries to reflect on the past few months and share visions for 2026.
