Compost sites in the Regensburg district: reopening from February 21st!

From February 21, 2026, the compost sites in the Regensburg district will be available again. In addition, the sifted compost and woody covering material are offered for sale.

Since June 2014, the district's compost has received the RAL quality seal from the Gütergemeinschaft Kompost e.V., which underlines the high quality of the material. This compost is also suitable for use in organic farming, making it particularly valuable for environmentally conscious farmers and gardeners.

Opening hours of the compost sites

The opening times for the compost site in Beratzhausen vary depending on the season. In winter (CET) the compost sites are open at the following times:

• Mittwoch: 14.00 – 17.00 Uhr
• Freitag: 15.00 – 17.00 Uhr
• Samstag: 08.00 – 13.00 Uhr

The following opening times apply in summer time (CEST):

• Mittwoch: 14.00 – 18.00 Uhr
• Freitag: 15.00 – 18.00 Uhr
• Samstag: 08.00 – 13.00 Uhr

Special arrangements
