Winter rest at Grüngutplatz in Sarching: closed until January!

On December 1, 2025, those responsible for the green waste and compost site in Sarching announced that the site is currently in hibernation. This closing time ensures understanding among residents as it is part of the compost site's usual practice. The next closure period will last from December 14, 2025 to January 11, 2026. No deliveries of green waste or services are possible during this time.

The winter closure of the compost site in Sarching follows the general regulations in the Regensburg district, where the compost sites will be reopened from March 1, 2025. Cities like Regenstauf and Beratzhausen as well as the green waste storage area in Pollenried will also start spring. The delivery of green waste and the sale of sieved compost and woody covering material are again offered.
