From Monday, September 16, 2024, St 2125 between Demling and Bach an der Donau will be completely closed again for construction work. This measure is necessary to continue work on the route, which is expected to last until December 20, 2024. The closure affects both traffic and bus routes operating in this region.

Bus routes 5 and 5A must be rerouted during construction. The diversion leads in both directions via the town of Demling, along the Danube cycle path, and further along the Aufeld road to Bach. This diversion is necessary to ensure the safety of passengers and construction workers.

Stops and alternative offers

As a result of the closure, the Bach West and Demling Gärtnerei Meinzinger stops cannot be served. Instead, the Bach Gasthof zur Post and Abzw. Demling stops are available as replacements. Replacement stops have already been set up on Scheuchenbergstrasse for the Demling Ort stop, which can be used during construction work.

In addition, replacement stops will be set up on both sides of the Danube cycle path, which are located near the boat ramp. These measures are intended to ensure that passengers continue to have access to public transport despite the diversions.
