Kunst am Kulm: Competition started for a new fountain on the market square
The city of Neustadt am Kulm has launched an exciting competition that aims to creatively design a new fountain at the town hall. As part of the “Living Centers” urban development funding program, an “Art in Building” competition is being announced, which aims to enrich the city center with an artistic element. The call for proposals is carried out in a restricted, single-stage process, which means that only selected artists have been invited to participate.
After intensive consultations with the Professional Association of Visual Artists Niederbayern/Oberpfalz e.V., five talented artists were selected who will now present their ideas and designs for the fountain system. This initiative is intended not only to improve the aesthetics of the market square, but also to promote cultural life in the city.
