Helpers urgently needed on the way to school: safety for our children!
The Pyrbaum market is urgently looking for new school helpers to ensure the safety of the children on their way to school. These volunteers, made up of parents, grandparents and other engaged citizens, play a critical role in securing dangerous traffic points and ensuring students navigate the roads safely.
In recent years, many school route helpers have served successfully, but at the end of the school year many of them withdraw as their own children change schools. This has led to a reduction in the number of available helpers, which could jeopardize children's safety.
Urgent call for support
The municipality therefore calls on all interested people to come forward and become part of this important initiative. The school route helpers are required to be present at the dangerous places for about half an hour at weekly intervals in the morning or at lunchtime. The more people participate, the fewer missions are required for each individual, which reduces the burden.
The campaign is supported by the traffic police and the Neumarkt police station, who will also offer technical training for the new helpers. This ensures that everyone involved is well prepared and knows how to act correctly in critical situations.
If you are interested in supporting the safety of children, you can contact the Pyrbaum market directly. Ms Lehmeier is available to answer any questions on 09180 9405 26. Your support is crucial to the “Safe to School – Safe to Home” campaign and is greatly appreciated by the community.
