The Pyrbaum community is urgently looking for reinforcements for its team and has advertised an interesting position. We are looking for a sewage attendant (m/f/d) who can work in the municipal wastewater systems with immediate effect. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an important area of municipal infrastructure.
The tasks of the sewage attendant are diverse and require both technical know-how and practical skills. The main tasks include controlling and monitoring the processes in the wastewater plants as well as monitoring the drainage networks. In addition, measurement data must be read and interpreted to ensure that all legal standards are met. In the event of deviations, immediate corrective action is required.
Tasks and requirements
Another important aspect of the job is the inspection and maintenance of pumps, basins and pipes. Repairs must also be carried out if necessary. The analysis and documentation of wastewater samples and sewage sludge are also part of our daily tasks.
This position requires completed vocational training in the craft sector, ideally as an electronics technician with a focus on automation or control technology. The community expects applicants to be committed, physically resilient and willing to undertake further training. Taking on on-call duties is also part of the job. A class B and CE driving license is an advantage.
