Seniors in focus: coffee klatches and activities in September

In September there are exciting events on the program for seniors in the city. The Senior Citizens' Advisory Council has organized a number of activities designed not only to entertain but also to strengthen the community. On Wednesday, September 4th and 18th, everyone interested is cordially invited to a friendly coffee chat. Meetings begin at 2:00 p.m. and prior registration is required. Anyone interested can register by calling 09181/46400.

Another highlight is the memory training, which takes place on Monday, September 9th at 2:30 p.m. This type of training is particularly important for promoting mental fitness and keeping memory active. On the same day there will also be a senior cinema where the film “Café Meineid” will be shown. The demonstration will also take place at 2:30 p.m. in the community center in the old school in Pölling.

Diverse offers for seniors

In addition to these events, there will be another opportunity to see the film “Café Perjury” in the community center on Wednesday, September 11th. For creative minds, an open handicraft meeting entitled “Hand in Hand” will be offered on September 10th and 24th at 2:15 p.m. Here participants can exchange their craft skills and learn new techniques.

A special event is the planned bus trip to Regensburg and Kelheim on September 24th. For this trip you must register on September 10th or 11th by calling 09181/2552614. The participation fee is 10.00 euros. These excursions offer an excellent opportunity to discover new places and spend time in good company.

The month will be rounded off with the VDK's nursing get-together, which will take place on Wednesday, September 25th at 3:00 p.m. These meetings are a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and information among participants.
