In Weiding, the citizens have once again demonstrated their willingness to help. Last Friday, 138 donors gathered at Chambtal Elementary School to donate their blood, an act that can save lives. Among these donors were five people who were taking part in a blood donation campaign for the first time. Around 2,000 blood donations are needed every day in Bavaria, which underlines the importance of such events.
The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) team, led by the Amann family, was pleased with the high number of participants. Lydia Amann, who led the event, warmly thanked the donors and at the same time praised the committed support of her helpers. This collaboration is crucial to successfully carry out such actions. After the donation, participants were treated to a selection of food and drinks, which lightened the atmosphere of the event.
