Annual meeting of the Herrnholzschützen: successes and innovations at a glance
The Herrnholzschützen Weiding held their annual meeting on Saturday evening. They look back on an eventful year. In the club's 110-year history there have not only been sporting successes, but also significant changes. The marksmanRoswitha Lembergerwill remain in office for the next three years.Simon Götzbecomes the new vice-shooting champion.
Investments and successes
An important point in the meeting was the financial report.Josef Dischnerreported on the extensive renovation of the shooting hall. The installation of electronic shooting ranges represents a large investment. Despite these expenses, the club remains financially stable. Dischner also mentioned upcoming funding from the Chamb-Regen alliance. He thanked his deputyMaria Praschfor their support over the past year. Youth and teams
The youth train every Friday.Hans Prasch Jr.reported on the successes of the young shooters. Won the community awards shoot in DalkingLeni Höpflwith a strong 94.8 divisor. The shooters were also active in the Weiding community's holiday leisure campaign. They organized a trip to the bouldering hall in Regensburg.
There are currently four teams in active competition. The first team took fifth place in the last district league season. The third team had to be content with last place in popular sports. The fourth team reached second place in Gauliga A. The new edition team took fifth place out of seven. Each team captain reported: “Every team started the new season with a win and now hopes that the winning streak will continue in the coming matches.”
Club outing and honors
The President of the Herrnholzbikers,Karl Gunther, reported on numerous trips. The highlight was a three-day tour to South Tyrol.Wolfram Dischnerthanked his sonKorbinianfor successful route planning. The association currently has 152 members.Roswitha Lembergerhighlighted members' shooting results.JosephandWolfram Dischnerreceived the district badge of honor for the district of Furth im Wald.
Community engagement
mayorDaniel Paulexpressed his thanks to the new board of directors. He emphasized the voluntary commitment of the club members. The community is also investing in the old school, which has been the clubhouse for 72 years. This is used as a technical control center for the town hall, kindergarten, crèche and St. Mary's Church. Paul feels a lot of passion in the club life of the Weidinger Schützen.
Appointment outlook
The shooters are looking forward to the open shooting home day on November 16th. From 2 p.m. all shooting enthusiasts are invited to try out the new electronic shooting ranges. Food and drink are provided. The Christmas party will take place on December 14th, followed by the pack shooting after the holidays.
