The weather turned out to be friendly when the relatives visited the graves of their deceased in Dalking and Weiding. The church fields in the parish of Dalking have been cared for in recent weeks by the employees of the Weiding community building yard and the families of the deceased.
Traditional commemoration
A service followed by a blessing of the grave takes place in the Dalking parish church on the afternoon of All Saints' Day. In the Marienkirche Weiding, the commemoration is traditionally celebrated as part of the early mass on the Sunday after All Saints' Day. November is generally considered the month of the dead, which is reflected in the high number of visitors to the memorial service in Dalking and the cemetery tour in Weiding.
