Environmental mobile autumn collection 2024: dates and important information for Walderbach
The Cham district's environmental vehicle is on the road again to collect problematic waste. On Wednesday, October 15, 2024, citizens will have the opportunity to hand in their waste containing pollutants at various locations in the communities of Walderbach and Reichenbach. This campaign is part of the regular autumn collection, which aims to dispose of hazardous waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
The environmental vehicle will stop at several places in Walderbach. From 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. it will be at the FFW house in Kirchenrohrbach. Then we continue to the sports field in Katzenrohrbach, where it can be found from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Finally, the mobile will be at the construction yard in Walderbach from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. In Reichenbach, citizens can hand in their waste at the sports field between 12:45 and 1:30 p.m.
What is collected?
The environmental mobile accepts a variety of problem waste, including stains, paint and varnish residues, solvents, medicines, batteries, chemicals and many other dangerous substances. It is important to note that only normal household quantities will be accepted. For larger quantities that come from households or businesses, a prior request to the district works is required. They can be reached by calling 09971/78-860.
It is particularly important that used vehicle batteries from online retailers may only be returned to the environmental vehicle without confirmation of acceptance. Citizens are asked not to leave their problem waste before the arrival of the environmental mobile to avoid safety risks. Anyone who arrives late must take their waste with them.
There is a special collection day for working people, which will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024. On this day, citizens can hand in their waste in Waldmünchen and Cham. The exact times are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Waldmünchen and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the recycling center in Cham.
