Apply now: Regional budget 2025 for small projects by January 20th!

For the fifth time in a row, the ILE Vorderer Bayerischer Wald is applying for the “regional budget”. Clubs, municipalities, companies and even private individuals have the opportunity to receive funding for their small regional projects. Interested project sponsors can submit their funding request with the necessary documents to the ILE office by January 20, 2025.

Funding for 2025

In the years 2021 to 2024, around 350,000 euros in funding flowed into the region through the regional budget. In 2024, around 14 projects were funded. For 2025, around 75,000 euros in funding will again be available for small regional projects.

Detailed information and application documents are available on the ILE Vorderer Bayerischer Wald website. Stand for questionsMartina KulzerandGerlinde Finkfrom the ILE office. It should be noted that the funding conditions have changed slightly compared to previous years. It is strongly recommended that you contact the ILE office before submitting your application.

Projects and eligibility

Every project submitted by the deadline will first be checked for eligibility. An independent selection committee then evaluates the applications. Based on the number of points achieved, the projects that qualify for funding from the regional budget are selected. Small projects are funded with up to 80% of the total costs, but a maximum of 7,500 euros. The total volume of the measure must not exceed 20,000 euros. The projects must be implemented and billed by the end of September 2025. In addition, the implementation of the project must not have started yet. In terms of content, the projects must fit into the Integrated Rural Development Concept (ILEK) with its seven fields of action. Small projects aim to secure and further develop rural areas as living, working, recreational and natural areas.

Examples of projects can be viewed on the ILE homepage. The “regional budget” consists of 90% funds from the Office for Rural Development and 10% funds from the ILE Vorderer Bayerischer Wald.
