Neukirchen b. Holy Blood: Urban development planning for photovoltaic system decided

In a recent meeting, the market town council of Neukirchen bei Hl. Blut took a significant step towards sustainable energy production. On July 1, 2024, the decision was made to establish the land-use planning of a special area for the construction of an open-space photovoltaic system called “Hochstrasse”. This is an important step to promote the use of renewable energy in the region.

The decision, made in a public meeting, also includes approval of the drafts that were already prepared on May 2, 2024. These drafts are part of a comprehensive process that ensures early public participation in accordance with the provisions of the Building Code (BauGB). This means that citizens have the opportunity to actively participate in the planning process and express their opinions.

Planning details

The urban development plan includes several important documents, including the project and development plan, the green area and an environmental report. These elements are crucial to ensure that the planned photovoltaic system is not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. The integration of these reports into the process demonstrates the community's commitment to responsible planning.

The land use plan change and the development plan are drawn up in parallel procedures in accordance with Section 8 Paragraph 3 of the BauGB. This means that both plans are processed at the same time to ensure everything runs smoothly. The municipality is committed to future-oriented development that meets the needs of its citizens and the environment.
