The community of Gleissenberg is planning to actively participate in the 2025 State Garden Show
Last week an important meeting took place in the town hall of Gleissenberg, which revolved around the upcoming state horticultural show in Furth im Wald in 2025. Mayor Wolfgang Daschner invited all clubs and businesses in the community to submit their ideas and suggestions. The event aims to optimally present the community of Gleissenberg and actively involve the local community.
A central point of the meeting was the use of the Cham district regional pavilion, which will be available on Friday, October 3rd, for the entire duration of the event. The community plans to create an appealing supporting program to appeal to a broad audience. A number of interesting program items have already been announced by various associations and businesses that are intended to enrich the offering.
Film project and information material
Local councilor Thomas Weingärtner is also working on a film about the home community, which will be shown in the tourist information center. This film is supplemented with historical images and current club activities to clearly show the development of the community. Those interested can provide digital images to support the project.
In addition, the clubs received an information sheet that regulates how to deal with community facilities. The focus is particularly on the new local and cultural barn, the multi-purpose hall and the wooden bowling alley in Merano Park. Mayor Daschner emphasized the importance of this information and encouraged the clubs to actively participate in the planning.
Another important date is coming up on Sunday, October 13th. At 10:00 a.m. there will be a morning pint for all club representatives in the youth center in Ried. The dates for 2025 as well as the village Christmas on December 7th, 2024 should be discussed here. The new local and cultural representative Gerhard Geiselhart will also be introduced. The community invites you to a white sausage breakfast to honor the voluntary work of the club members.
Clubs can already book appointments for the new home and culture barn. The relevant booking documents can be found on the municipality's homepage and should be forwarded to Eva Schmatz's administrative secretariat. Other events can also be reported here to be published in the community's digital event calendar. The earlier you register, the better the chances of getting a desired date.
