Journey of discovery to the Angushof: children experience the farm and nature
As part of today's holiday program, the children had the opportunity to explore the Angushof in Buchberg. Under the motto “Experience the farm”, the day began with a warm welcome, where the little visitors were able to get to know the different animals on the farm. These first encounters with the animals caused wide-eyed wonder and a lot of enthusiasm.
After the animal introduction, the children went into the nearby forest. There they collected materials to make a creative forest and meadow memory. Meanwhile, they learned exciting information about the different forest dwellers. These activities not only promoted creativity but also knowledge about nature and its inhabitants.
Farm delicacies
Another highlight of the day was the well-deserved snack, which consisted of fresh produce from the farm. The children were able to enjoy home-baked bread, fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, refreshing apple juice and raspberry water as well as hearty meat patties. These culinary delicacies were not only delicious, but also a practical example of the topics of regionality and sustainability that Angushof Buchberg actively promotes.
These experiences taught the children in a playful way how important it is to appreciate regional products and live sustainably. The holiday program not only offered fun and adventure, but also valuable lessons about nature and the origins of our food.
