The municipality of Arrach has recently announced a number of exciting developments affecting both local infrastructure and cultural offerings. On Thursday, August 22, 2024, a partnership meeting of the cross-border community alliance “Künisches Gebirge” will take place in the picturesque Seepark Arrach. This event aims to strengthen cooperation between the communities involved and promote joint projects.
In addition to this meeting, there is news in the area of car sharing. The municipality has created the opportunity to secure advertising space to support the maintenance of the car sharing location. This is an important step to promote environmentally friendly mobility in the region and offer citizens a flexible transport option.
Renovation of the bridge in the Seepark
Another important project is the renovation of the bridge over the Weißer Regen, which represents an important connection between the parking lot on State Road 2138 and the Seepark. This bridge, which has been heavily used since its completion in 1998, recently received new larch wood flooring. To ensure the safety of pedestrians, special strips made of rough material were also installed to ensure slip resistance, especially in the winter months.
The costs for this renovation work amount to around 2,000 euros and were carried out by the municipal building yard itself. This measure is not only important for safety reasons, but also contributes to the attractiveness of the popular leisure area.
Another highlight is the newly opened instrument trail in the Seepark, which is equipped with 25 panels over a distance of one and a half kilometers. This path is intended to encourage both children and adults to learn a musical instrument. The boards feature QR codes that lead to short videos in which music teachers introduce their instruments. This is an innovative way to combine music and movement and promote interest in music education.
With these initiatives, the municipality of Arrach shows that it is actively working to improve the quality of life of its citizens and at the same time creates cultural offerings that are both informative and entertaining. The combination of infrastructure projects and cultural events makes Arrach a lively place that attracts both locals and visitors.
