Creative funding 2026: Up to €20,000 for volunteer work between Alb and Rosenberg!
In 2026, creative small projects and volunteer work in the ILE Oberpfälzer Alb will be supported by a new regional budget. This was announced on January 5, 2026. The total budget of 50,000 euros is now available to support a variety of projects in the communities of Neukirchen bei Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Etzelwang, Weigendorf, Birgland and Illschwang.
Applications for this funding program are possible until February 14, 2026. Target groups are clubs, associations, private individuals and companies that are actively involved in volunteer work. The projects are intended to play an important role in the community and contribute to strengthening social cohesion.
Funding details and criteria
The maximum cost framework for a small project is 20,000 euros (gross). The funding rate for project sponsors who are not entitled to input tax deduction is up to 80% of the gross total costs, whereby the maximum funding amount may not exceed 10,000 euros. For project sponsors entitled to input tax deduction, 80% of the project costs are funded after input tax deduction.
Another advantage of the program is the possibility of using third-party funds to finance your own contribution. The funded projects must begin after receiving a contract under private law and be completed by September 30, 2026 at the latest. The projects are selected by a decision-making committee that will make decisions based on defined criteria.
