New meeting point at the Laubhof: Christmas evenings and festivities for everyone

There is exciting news at Laubhof, a place with a long tradition of hospitality. The farm, which was once known as a climatic and dairy health resort, has developed into a popular destination for celebrations. Whether private celebrations, company events or club celebrations – the rooms are actively used. Special events also take place here every year, such as the asparagus festival on May 1st, the church service and court festival on Ascension Day and the Allerwelts-Hofkirchweih on the second Sunday in October.

A central part of the Laubhof is the new brewery, which is managed by Anna Ulrich. The master brewer successfully completed her training at the Kummert brewery in Amberg and then intensively prepared for her master brewing certificate. Her passion for brewing led her and her husband Christoph to purchase a hobby brewery on Lake Constance. “It was a crazy idea,” Anna smiles as she looks back on the challenges associated with the purchase.

The creation of the brewery

After purchasing the small brewery, the real work began. The former barn was remodeled over the course of four years, and the small shop was also modernized. A lot of personal effort was required, and friends and acquaintances actively helped. The idea of serving Zoigl, a traditional beer with a limited shelf life, presented the operators with a new challenge. In order to offer guests a special experience, it was decided to create seating in addition to a new sausage and meat counter. Visitors can fill their Zoigl beer directly from the tank into bottles they bring with them.

An inviting room has now been available for groups since May 2024. Zoiglabende take place on certain weekends of the month, offering changing snacks and often musical entertainment. Lunch is offered once a week, on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and registration is recommended. Current information about this can be easily found via the Laubhof's WhatsApp status.

In the colder months, homemade slaughter bowls are also available, prepared every four weeks. Anna Ulrich is thinking about offering a breakfast buffet, but she still needs support. The developments at Laubhof show that not only tradition, but also innovation and hospitality are very important here.
