A warm welcome for the new ABC shooters at the Max Prechtl School
At the Max Prechtl School in Gibbach, the atmosphere on the first day of school for the new first graders was simply great. The second to fourth grade students, together with principal Ingrid Schneider, welcomed the new ABC shooters with open arms. Colorful banners, cheerful songs and heartfelt texts gave the children an unforgettable start to their school days.
Class leader Ricarda Dennerlein and Mayor Peter Dotzler also took the opportunity to express their best wishes. They emphasized how important it is to have a lot of success in this new phase of life and to enjoy a safe route to school. Meanwhile, the adults were able to enjoy a rich cake buffet in the gym, while the children received small gifts from their teacher and were able to gain their first exciting school experiences.
A warm farewell
When the new students left school, they were warmly bid farewell by teachers and children from the Kainsrichter forest kindergarten. They formed a line and waved good luck to the little ABC shooters, which added to the excitement and joy of the day.
The day ended with a solemn opening service at which parish vicar Christian Preitschaft gave God's blessing to the new students. This ceremony was a beautiful end to a special day that marked the beginning of a new chapter in the first years' lives. The school and community are looking forward to the coming years with the new students and are excited about all the adventures that await them.
