On February 17, 2026, the municipality of Ebermannsdorf will provide information about the current status of the ongoing fiber optic expansion. According to the municipality, the final assembly of the fiber optic connections in the districts of Pittersberg, Au, Arling and Breitenbrunn has already been completed.

The connection to the main line and the technical activation of the fiber optic connections are expected to be planned by the end of March 2026. Service provider Fiber Direct will inform all affected households directly about the operational connection.
