On October 7, 2025, the minutes of the last local council meeting of the Rehling community were published. This took place on September 25, 2025 and was led by First Mayor Christoph Aidelsburger. In addition to Aidelsburger, the meeting, which began at 7:30 p.m., also included Second Mayor Ignaz Strobl and Third Mayor Dr. Silvia Huber was present, as were seven other members of the local council and five listeners, including the press representative Josef Abt and the secretary Benjamin Schröter. Five members of the local council, namely Markus Eberwein, Anton Haberl, Katharina Jakob, Philipp Satzger and Quirin Wilhelm, were excused.

The agenda was particularly informative, containing several important points. This included, among other things, the approval of the minutes of July 17, 2025, an application for the expansion of the soccer golf course in the Soccerpark Rehling and the statement on the construction of a parking space roof with a photovoltaic system. The point of traffic planning also stood out as the results of the 2025 traffic show were presented.

Resolutions and votes

The resolutions of the meeting were recorded in several votes. The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved. The application to expand the football golf course received a decision in principle with 7 yes and 3 no votes. On the other hand, the approval for the inclusion of an area in the amendment process of development plan No. 16 did not receive the required majority and was clearly negative with 2 yes to 8 no votes.

With regard to the single-family home on Kinderheimstrasse, consent was granted, but with conditions for secure development, as no yes votes were counted for this. Approval for the insulation for the carport was given unanimously, while approval for the parking space roof was refused. The plans of the neighboring community of Langweid a. Lech, however, were accepted without hesitation.

The returning officer for the local elections on March 8, 2026 was also appointed, with Anna-Maria Lechner as main returning officer and Verena Watzka as deputy being unanimously elected. Towards the end of the meeting, information on compensation measures, groundwater monitoring sites and other topics was discussed before the meeting ended at 8:38 p.m.

The importance of the topics covered is reflected in the various votes and the extensive discussion that the local councils have. The minutes can now be viewed on the Rehling community website and offer a clear insight into the current political situation in the community.
