New citizens' office and interim building: Kissing is planning future-oriented projects

At the last meeting of the municipal council on September 26, 2024, significant progress was presented in the planning of two important construction projects for the municipality of Kissing. These developments are critical to meeting the growing needs of the population and improving the community's infrastructure.

A central topic was the construction of a new interim building for the primary school. Given the increasing number of pupils and the damage caused by the floods in June, the need for new classrooms and specialist rooms is more urgent than ever. The local council has now officially started planning for the interim building in the northern area of the school site. The hope is that the new premises will be ready for the 2025/2026 school year to provide students with an appropriate learning environment.

New citizens' office in Kissing

Another important topic at the meeting was the presentation of the new citizens' office, which is to be built at Asternstrasse 13. Despite the high costs of the project, the planning was approved by a majority. The new citizens' office is intended not only to improve citizen service, but also to improve the urban development situation on Kirchstrasse. It will also help to eliminate the lack of space in the town hall, which is of great importance for the administration. After receiving the building permit, construction work should begin quickly in order to make the new premises available as quickly as possible.

These two projects are part of Kissing Township's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life of its citizens and respond to the growing needs of the community. The developments show that the community is actively working on solutions to strengthen both education and administration.
