Autumn holidays in Wittelsbach Castle: Adventure for little explorers!

Adventure stories and creative workshops await children at Wittelsbach Castle during the autumn holidays. The museum offers a varied program for children aged six to thirteen. The events are free or involve a small participation fee.

Program overview

On Tuesday October 29th there will be a special event with the fairy tale fairy. Children can choose between two time slots: 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. On the same day there is also an adventure in the clock room. Here the children can climb into a time machine with Uli, the Friedberg castle ghost. This journey through space and time is suitable for children aged 6 to 10 and is free. Registration is required by October 24th at 0821/26077-18.

On Wednesday, October 30th, a story about courage and trust is on the program. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. there will be a short museum tour with Kamishibai narrative theater and a craft activity. Participation costs 5 euros and registration is necessary at 0821/6002-684.

Another highlight is the collage workshop “Weird Birds” on Saturday, November 2nd. Here the children can let their creativity run wild and design a unique bird. The workshop takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is aimed at children aged 8 to 13. The participation fee is 3 euros. Registrations are possible at the email address sannawimmer@icloud.com.

Thanks to the support of the Friedberg Family Support Center, the workshops in the castle can be offered to children free of charge or for a very low participation fee.
