Diverse adventures: Dasinger holiday program delights children

The holiday program in Dasing this year once again caused a lot of excitement and joy. The children had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities that were both educational and entertaining. The “Gourmet Internship” in the Goldenen Stern restaurant in Rohrbach was particularly popular, where the young participants were not only able to cook but also put their culinary skills to the test. “Mmm, so delicious,” was the unanimous verdict of the 12 children who took part in this event. Such events are quickly booked up and show how great the interest in creative and practical offers is.

Another highlight was the fire brigade day, which took place in Dasing and, for the first time, in Rieden. Here the children were able to gain exciting insights into the work of the fire department and take an active part. This year there was also an exciting excursion to the planetarium in Augsburg. Around 20 children set out on the train to find out more about the fascinating world of stars and planets. After a short walk, an exciting program awaited them that was intended to expand their knowledge of the universe.

Diverse offers for everyone

The holiday program not only offered exciting excursions, but also numerous craft and sports activities. The children were able to build nesting boxes for tits under supervision, which not only required manual skills, but was also a nice experience for everyone involved. The children were proud to take these nesting boxes home with them, which added to the fun factor. A total of 28 organizers, many of them volunteers, were involved in the organization and offered over 70 different program items. The 187 girls and 176 boys who took part in the 46th Dasinger holiday program were able to experience an unforgettable time.

The crowning conclusion was the traditional trip to Europa-Park, which has always been a complete success in recent years. The bus was filled to capacity and not only the teenagers, but also entire families had the opportunity to benefit from this community-supported offer. It is clear that the Dasing children have experienced a lot in the last few weeks and returned home with many stories.

The organizers and helpers deserve a big thank you for their tireless efforts and the great offers they made to the children. The holiday program in Dasing remains an important part of the summer holidays and ensures that the children not only have fun, but also learn a lot.
