Virtual information evening: Understanding social security in care
The Swabian Department of Dementia and Care has exciting news for everyone who would like to find out about support in the event of care. The popular virtual information evenings will continue and the next date has already been set. An informative lecture will take place on October 16, 2024 at 7 p.m. on the topic of “Help with care”.
In this lecture, Anke Birke, head of the advisory center of the Swabia district's social administration, will provide important information on social security for people in need of care. Many older people who either live at home or are accommodated in a nursing home are often faced with the challenge that the financial resources from nursing care insurance and their own income are not sufficient to cover the costs of nursing care. This is where help with care comes in.
Important topics in focus
The lecture will clarify numerous questions that concern many families. Who bears the costs of care? What financial obligations do children have towards their parents who need care? And how do you apply for support? These and many other topics are covered in detail to give participants a better understanding of the complex subject matter.
The event will take place online via Zoom and participation is free. However, those interested should register in advance to receive the access link. Registrations are possible by email info@demenz-pflege-schwaben.de or by phone at 0831/697143-18 or -15.
These information evenings are a valuable opportunity to find out about support options in the event of care and to get answers to pressing questions. The Swabian Department of Dementia and Care is committed to ensuring that people in need of care and their relatives receive the help and information they need to better cope with the challenges of care.
