Construction sites on the B300: Important diversions for bus routes announced

The upcoming construction work on the B300 between Friedberg and Oberzell casts its shadow. The road will be closed from September 16th to October 4th, 2024, bringing significant changes to the AVV regional bus routes. The administrative community has now published the details of the diversions in order to provide passengers with the best possible information.

The affected bus routes are 203, 204 and 209, which will be affected by the changes throughout the period. It is particularly important that timetables are adjusted during this time. Details about the diversions

The construction work is divided into two phases. In the first phase, which lasts from September 16th to probably September 24th, lines 200, 202, 203, 204, 209 and 210 are affected. In the second phase, which is expected to take place from September 25th to October 4th, lines 200, 202, 203, 204 and 209 will be rerouted, while line 210 will return to normal service.

For AVV line 203, this means that the following stops in the direction of Dasing cannot be served: Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell and Dasing Rettenberger Straße. Instead, the Rothenbergstrasse stop in Friedberg is offered as a replacement. In the opposite direction, the Friedberg Festplatz, Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell and Dasing Rettenberger Straße stops are affected, with the Hermann-Löns-Straße stop serving as a replacement.

AVV line 204 has similar limitations. In the direction of Dasing, the stops Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell, Dasing Rettenberger Straße and Dasing Abzw. Bahnhof cannot be reached. The Dasing, Wessiszeller Straße stop is offered as a replacement here. The same restrictions apply in the opposite direction.

For AVV line 209, the stops in the direction of Dasing are also affected. The Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell, Dasing Rettenberger Straße and Dasing Abzw. Bahnhof stops are not served, with the Wessiszeller Straße stop serving as a replacement. The same stops are affected in the return direction.

The administration asks all passengers for their understanding and recommends that they follow the construction timetables in order to make the journey as smooth as possible. The exact dates for the individual construction phases will be announced in good time so that passengers always remain informed.
